Will Ferrell Hospitalized After Freeway Crash

Actor Will Ferrell was taken to a sanatorium Thursday night following a pile-up in Aliso Viejo, Calif., according to a California Highway Patrol.

Ferrell was a newcomer in an SUV that was sideswiped and flipped over on a northbound I-5 during 10:55 p.m. Video footage from a stage showed Ferrell articulate on a dungeon phone while being installed into an ambulance.

The actor was not severely hurt, his deputy told TMZ. Ferrell was one of 3 passengers in a chauffeur-driven SUV, that was returning from a “Funny or Die” eventuality in San Diego. Ferrell seemed as Ron Burgundy from “Anchorman.”

A 27-year-old lady was also in a SUV. She was not wearing a seatbelt, and was severely injured, according to a Orange County Register. The CHP reported that a SUV was headed north in a carpool lane, only north of La Paz Road. The motorist of a Toyota in a line to a right swerved into a SUV, causing it to strike a core divider and flip, Officer Rafael Reynoso told a Register.

“The motorist of a Toyota apparently had depressed defunct and struck a back finish of a (Lincoln) Navigator causing it to strike a core divider wall,” Reynoso told a paper.
