Weinstein Co. is set to record for failure after sale talks collapse

Bids came due in late December. Santa Monica studio Lionsgate, famous for “La La Land” and “The Hunger Games,” was meddlesome in shopping certain resources of a company. Killer Content, a New York prolongation association behind “Carol” and “Still Alice,” had offering to buy a resources and reconstitute them into an entity to support women. Other bidders enclosed Miramax (owned by BeIN Media) and private equity firms Shamrock Capital Advisors and Vine Alternative Investments.
