University of Illinois Looks to Strengthen Ties with Africa

URBANA, Ill. – The University of Illinois is anticipating to strengthen a connectors with Africa by new partnerships, investigate exchanges and tyro enrollment.

University officials recently visited South Africa and Malawi. The commission visited with member from a University of Pretoria, Stellenbosch University and a University of Johannesburg, as good as supervision officials, The News-Gazette reported.

Jones pronounced he hopes connectors with South African universities will outcome in some-more investigate partnerships as good as move some-more African students to a university.

University officials wish to variegate a university’s general enrollment. The campus had some-more than 100 students from Africa final fall, that accounts for reduction than 1 percent of a university’s some-more than 10,000 general students.

“It’s critical in a same approach that we value farrago in a domestic students,” Mabokela said.
