Al-Jazeera’s Sue Turton: “It’s unequivocally distressing and infuriating”

The reporters were found guilty of ancillary a now criminialized Muslim Brotherhood and swelling fake news. They denied a charges, though have been jailed for seven, 7 and 10 years respectively.

They were arrested final Dec and indicted of creation reports that were sensitive to former Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi and a Muslim Brotherhood.

The hearing has caused an general cheer amid claims it was politicised.
