Soccer star Hope Solo arrested on domestic attack charges


Hope Solo allegedly assaulted her sister and a 17-year-old nephew.

(CNN) — Soccer star Hope Solo was arrested on domestic attack charges early Saturday after allegedly assaulting both her sister and nephew during a home in Seattle, Washington, military said.

Solo, 32, goalie for a Seattle Reign FC and a former Olympian, was being hold but bail in a south King County jail on domestic-violence attack charges, according to a matter from a Kirkland Police Department. Her name is listed as Hope Amelia Stevens.

She is to seem in justice on Monday.

Police pronounced Solo allegedly assaulted her sister and a 17-year-old nephew early Saturday. Officers responded to a 911 call for a reeling in that a masculine reported that a lady would not stop “hitting people” or leave a house, a matter said.

At a home, officers listened a disturbance. Inside, Solo seemed “intoxicated and upset,” military said.

Police pronounced Solo’s nephew and sister had manifest injuries. After interviewing witnesses, military dynamic that Solo was a “primary invader and had instigated a assault,” a matter said.
