LONDON — The Royal Navy in Britain has been monitoring Russian warships in a North Sea and has escorted one vessel trimming British waters, a Defense Ministry in London pronounced on Tuesday, amid heightened tensions between a dual countries.

The Defense Ministry pronounced in a statement that it had remarkable an “upsurge” in Russian vessels in a segment over a past few days, and that it sent a frigate St. Albans to chaperon a Russian warship Admiral Gorshkov by a North Sea as it neared British waters. A helicopter was dispatched to guard dual other Russian vessels.

“Britain will never be intimidated when it comes to safeguarding a country, a people, and a inhabitant interests,” Defense Secretary Gavin Williamson pronounced in a statement.
