'Halloween' Reboot Debuts First Trailer (Watch)

Universal Pictures forsaken a initial scary trailer for its “Halloween” reboot on Friday.

Most notably, a reboot facilities Jamie Lee Curtis reprising her role as Laurie Strode, who famously transient a corner of Michael Myers’ blade in John Carpenter’s strange 1978 slasher pic and landed Curtis a mark on a Hollywood A-list. Curtis isn’t alone, though, as Nick Castle also earnings to petiole and dawn over victims as Myers. Curtis seemed in “Halloween II,” “Halloween H20: 20 years Later,” and “Halloween: Resurrection,” though a reboot will be Castle’s initial time donning a barbarous unkempt facade given a strange “Halloween.”

The new trailer introduces Castle as a restrained shouting hysterically during a Myers mask, afterwards switches to a grave Curtis during aim use and asserting, “I urge each night that he would escape.”

“Why a ruin did we do that for?” asks a city sheriff, played by Will Patton.

“So we can kill him,” she replies.

Carpenter serves as a reboot’s executive producer, along with horror movie maestro Jason Blum. The film is directed by David Gordon Green, who co-wrote a book with actor Danny McBride. The pic is being constructed by Trancas International Films, Blumhouse Productions, and Miramax.

“Halloween” hits theaters on Oct. 19.
