Eastern Michigan strictly installing a gray football field

Eastern Michigan frequency ever enters a college football spotlight. But a Eagles have a devise to change that this year — color their margin … gray?

They won’t be a initial group with a colored field. Boise State’s territory is blue. Eastern Washington’s is red. At one point, both fields were even on TV during a same time:


But gray? Really? At slightest Boise State and Eastern Washington gave their fields splendid propagandize colors. At least Central Arkansas’ gray margin includes purple stripes.

Gray isn’t even one of EMU’s central colors! And even if it was — they do wear it infrequently — it’s still a terrible tone for a field. FWIW, a Eagles’ primary tone is green, that strikes me as an overwhelming tone for football turf.
