Airlines cancel 3400+ flights as nor'easter snarls travel

Airlines had canceled some-more than 3,400 fights Friday as a absolute nor’easter brought rain, snow and serious wind to many of a Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Most carriers were waiving change fees for fliers there.

Disruptions from a charge were widespread. 

Nationwide, 3,415 flights had been canceled and another 4,265 behind as of 11:40 p.m. ET, according to flight-tracking use FlightAware
