Africa-EU team-work in Research & Innovation

On Wednesday 20 Mar 2019, European Research Council (ERC) President Professor Jean-Pierre Bourguignon and member of a European Commission will accommodate with African Research and Innovation stakeholders during a African Academy of Sciences (AAS) in Nairobi, Kenya to foster EU-African investigate team-work underneath Horizon 2020, a EU’s investigate and creation programme.

To date, 310 projects involving researchers from African Union countries have been saved with €123 million underneath a Horizon 2020 programme. The assembly in Nairobi will set a theatre for new EU-African partnerships in Research and Innovation, aligning with a vital prophesy of ‘transforming lives by science’.

At a event, reporters might attend in a morning programme. This will include of welcoming remarks by a Professor Felix Dapare Dakora, President of a African Academy of Sciences and Professor Jean-Pierre Bourguignon, President of a European Research Council, as good as presentations on EU-Africa systematic cooperation, successes and hurdles from a perspectives of a European and African Union Commissions. The programme also includes opportunities to correlate and control one-to-ones with a presenters.
